Women in impoverished communities consider it a big struggle to find a steady source of income, especially with the limited number of opportunities available for all.
ADRA Philippines is helping at least 12 women from Brgy. Tagumpay, Project 4, Quezon City generate income through sewing. Last October 1, ADRA distributed sewing machines to these women through the coordination efforts of the Project 4 Seventh-day Adventist church, headed by Pastor Alfredo Selin, and its Adventist Community Services (ACS) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
