Following the success of our AUP Academy Choir fundraising concert, the “Stronger Together – Concert Series” will be a monthly online event hosted by ADRA supporters and streamed live on the ADRA Philippines’ Facebook Page; raising funds for our Stronger Together project.
This mini-series will be launched on September 5th by the “Filipino Adventists in Nordic Area” (FANA) Ministries, a group based in Norway.
We will stream the LIVE concert at 10pm (4pm in Norway), and RE-STREAM it the following week, on September 12th at 5PM, for those who are unable to catch it live via the ADRA Philippines Facebook Page.
Stronger Together: The Project
Stronger Together is ADRA’s partnership with the Adventist Church, the Adventist University of the Philippines, and other Adventist institutions for a continued response to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Stronger Together” is more than just the project’s title, it is a statement of unity where the Adventist Community in the Philippines, as well as donors from around the world, have all contributed to this nationwide COVID-19 response. We continue to raise funds for this project, but over the next six months we plan to work with our partners to provide psychosocial support to medical front liners of Adventist and non-Adventist health facilities, provide surgical masks, face shields, alcohol and disinfectants to health facilities, install 45 handwashing facilities with soap in public spaces, and distribute 5,000 coloring books to children educating them on COVID-19.
