The Aetas of the Central Philippines have long suffered the effects of poverty, displacement and scorn. Yet this indigenous group live happy and simple lives, enjoying the nature around them and their families.

Samaritans Purse and ADRA Philippines continue to work together to bring the Aeta children more smiles and more love, shoeboxes that have crossed oceans and continents to reach small and grateful hands.

The Operation Christmas Child was brought to the Aeta children of Sitio Halduan and Calapi in Mabalacat Pampanga last April 24, 2016. The Aetas seldom receive affirmation from the outside world; now they know there are those who care for them.
