SOUTH COTABATO, Philippines—The Responsible Investment and Shared Empowerment (RISE VisMin) Project, in collaboration with the Mountain View College Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (MVCEMPCO), conducted the blessing ceremony for the acquisition of farm equipment facilities for farmer-beneficiaries/partners.

The representative of Southern Mindanao Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist attended the blessing ceremony, which was spearheaded by Pastor Enrile Yata, who gave the message. The MVCEMPCO Board of Directors was also present, and ADRA Philippines was represented by its Country Director, Dr. Hope Aperocho, and ADRA Asia Regional Finance Director, Mr. Terence Cole. The partner beneficiaries were also present at the event.

With the acquisition of these farm equipment, our farmers can now significantly reduce the cost associated with land preparation, leading to a substantial increase in their profitability. This is a tangible and immediate benefit of this collaborative project.
