ADRA Philippines and UNFPA met with the Provincial Health Officer of Catanduanes, Dr. Hazel Palmes, to discuss the province’s needs in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services and identify key priorities for response and collaboration.

A joint meeting with UN agencies was led by the Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, Gustavo Gonzales, to assess the urgent needs of communities affected by Super Typhoon Man-Yi.

The meeting’s objective was to understand the immediate need for humanitarian assistance, including Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services and gender-based violence (GBV) support, through on-the-ground assessments. The team gathered crucial insights to plan an effective and inclusive response, ensuring that no one is left behind.
