ADRA continues its commitment to serving vulnerable communities by bringing joy, dignity, and hope to children through its partnership with Samaritan’s Purse in the implementation of the Operation Christmas Child (OCC) gift-giving initiative in selected areas of Pampanga and Nueva Vizcaya.
A total of 310 children received OCC gift boxes through this initiative. Beyond material gifts, the program aims to create meaningful moments of encouragement and care for children in underserved communities, many of whom have limited access to celebratory experiences. Each gift box serves as a simple yet powerful reminder that they are valued, remembered, and supported.
In Pampanga, the activity was implemented in coordination with Barangay Camias and Camias Seventh-day Adventist Church, who supported local mobilization and distribution efforts. In Nueva Vizcaya, the initiative was carried out in partnership with the Adventist Community Services of the Southwestern Nueva Vizcaya District, Kayapa Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Local Government Unit of Kayapa, and the Rural Health Unit of Kayapa, ensuring effective coordination and smooth implementation at the community level.
Through strong local partnerships, the initiative was successfully delivered to children in need, highlighting the importance of collaboration in reaching vulnerable populations with timely and meaningful support.
ADRA remains committed to working with partners to implement child-focused programs that promote hope, resilience, and well-being in communities across the Philippines.
