Mission Possible: The heavy rains caused by the shear line and the trough of the low pressure swelled rivers in Agusan del Sur to overflow, displacing thousands in Butuan City on February 6, 2024. But ADRA, together with Northeastern Mindanao Mission and with your support, provided cash assistance to 450 families in Barangay Baan Riverside and Barangay Buhangin, Butuan City on February 16, 2024.

This response was made successful through the efficient assistance of our Adventist Community Services (ACS) volunteers in Butuan led by Pr. Meljoie Pepito, Pr. Lonie Cena and Pr. Jemuel Dela Pena.

We are thankful for the partnership ADRA and ACS have in the Philippines, which has enabled us to deliver a prompt and reliable response. Also, our collaboration with Hope Channel NEMM has provided us with valuable materials that we can share with everyone, furthering our mission of service to humanity.
