South Philippine Union Conference (SPUC) has just completed the Training of Trainers on May 10, 2023, which is the second phase of the #DisasterReadyChurch project. The TOT was participated by all of the Adventist Community Services (ACS) Directors and representatives from the 8 missions/conferences under the SPUC territory, namely;
– Zamboanga Peninsula Mission
– Western Mindanao Mission
– North Central Mindanao Mission
– Northeastern Mindanao Mission
– Central Mindanao Mission
– Davao Mission
– Northern Davao Mission
– Souther Mindanao Mission
The success of the training was achieved through the participation and support of SPUC administrators; Pastor Dan Palomares, Pastor Edwin Magdadaro, Sir Chemuel Almocera, and SPUC ACS Director, Pastor Abundionito Cayme.
The vision of the #DisasterReadyChurch project is to educate, equip and prepare our churches to be ready when a disaster strikes. Not just resilient but ready to serve the affected communities around them!
