On August 15-18, 2023, a 4-day training was held and led by the Interim Country Director of ADRA Philippines, Prabhook Bandaratilleke, to provide resources, discuss systems, and share experiences that aim to empower our local churches with a renewed awareness of disaster preparedness and implementation of efficient localized emergency responses. 

This event has also led to revivifying the partnership between ADRA Philippines and NPUC ACS. We would like to thank Pr. Gerardo Cajobe, the president of NPUC, on emphasizing the importance of missional work that all of us must be involved in during the commitment program today! We applaud his leadership, Pr. Relino Urbi’s and all of the ACS directors of NPUC for coming together to participate in this event, which is only the beginning of proactive work for our communities in the country!
