As part of its continuing commitment to serving vulnerable communities and uplifting children through compassionate action, ADRA Philippines successfully conducted an Operation Christmas Child (OCC) box distribution for 100 children in Brgy. Sabutan, Silang.
The activity brought together children, families, community members, and volunteers in a meaningful celebration of generosity, kindness, and hope. Each OCC box contained carefully prepared items, including toys, hygiene kits, school supplies, and other essential materials, designed to bring joy and practical support to children in need. For many beneficiaries, receiving these gifts became a memorable experience that reminded them they were valued, loved, and not forgotten.
More than a gift distribution, the initiative reflected ADRA’s mission to serve humanity so that all may live as God intended. Through simple acts of compassion, the program created opportunities to encourage children, strengthen community connections, and share messages of hope with families facing everyday challenges.
The smiles, excitement, and heartfelt responses from the children highlighted the positive impact of collective generosity on communities. Moments like these continue to inspire ADRA Philippines in its work of promoting dignity, care, and resilience among vulnerable sectors.
ADRA Philippines also extends its heartfelt gratitude to Samaritan’s Purse, a valued and trusted partner since the 1990s, for its unwavering support and long-standing commitment to children and communities around the world. Through this enduring partnership, countless children have experienced joy, encouragement, and hope through Operation Christmas Child.
As ADRA Philippines continues to work alongside partners, local leaders, and communities, initiatives such as this serve as a reminder that even small acts of kindness can create lasting impact and help build stronger, more compassionate communities for the future.
